We are deeply shocked by a devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck our motherland on Saturday, April 25. Thousands of bodies have already been pulled from buildings that crumbled hospitals are full of injured people and death tolls has been rising. In the event of this hard time CODEC-UK has started raising fund to send to Nepal via a reliable and trustworthy source. We request all our members, well-wishers and friends to come forward with possible financial and technical supports. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CENTRE, UK (CODEC-UK) is a charity organisation established on 4 th January 2009 and officially registered on 30 July 2010 by the Charity Commission, UK. The main objectives of the CODEC-UK are as follows:

1. To promote the benefit of Nepalese citizens residing particularly but not exclucively in the London Borough of Brent by:

 

(A) The advancement of education and training;

(B) The relief of poverty, sickness and distress;

(C) The promotion of good health; and

(D) The provision of recreational facilities in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their condition of life;

2. To advance the education of the public in all aspect of Nepalese history and culture.

 

3. The promotion of such other charitable purposes as the trustees may from time to time determine.
